Unpad Graduate School Strengthens Workers’ Rights and Equality Through Sustainability Guidelines

The Graduate School (SPs) of Universitas Padjadjaran has reinforced its commitment to fairness and inclusivity in the workplace through the implementation of its Sustainability Guidelines. These guidelines provide clear mechanisms for employees to file appeals regarding rights and salaries, while also guaranteeing freedom of association and collective bargaining for all staff, including women and international employees. SPs ensures that all outsourced workers, such as security staff and office assistants, receive equal treatment and fair workload distribution without gender bias.

This policy framework also prohibits forced labor, modern slavery, human trafficking, and child labor, while upholding reasonable working hours and conditions for every employee. In line with its equal pay policy, SPs applies fair remuneration standards to eliminate gender-based wage gaps. These measures directly contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, by promoting fair labor practices, equality, and financial justice in the academic environment.
