Unpad Graduate School Launches “Natural Resources and Environmental Management” Course to Strengthen Sustainable Practices

The Graduate School, Universitas Padjadjaran has introduced a course titled “Natural Resources and Environmental Management” as part of the Master of Environmental Science program. This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of how natural resources can be managed effectively and sustainably in response to environmental challenges. Through interdisciplinary approaches, students learn to analyze ecological systems, develop management strategies, and evaluate policies that balance environmental conservation with socio-economic needs.
The course directly contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 15: Life on Land, by emphasizing biodiversity conservation, land restoration, and sustainable use of ecosystems. It also supports SDG 4: Quality Education through advanced academic training and SDG 13: Climate Action by addressing the environmental impacts of resource management.
