SPs UNPAD Expands Mental Health Support with New Consultation Services

In alignment with its commitment to promoting the well-being of its academic community, Sekolah Pascasarjana Universitas Padjadjaran (SPs UNPAD) is pleased to announce the availability of enhanced mental health consultation services. As outlined in Chapter 1: Health and Well-being of the Academic Community of the Sustainability Guidelines, these new services are designed to offer psychological support to both students and staff, addressing mental health challenges with comprehensive care.

Under the leadership of the Program Study Chair, SPs UNPAD now provides access to professional mental health consultations, including psychological support for individuals facing anxiety and other mental health concerns. These services are aimed at helping members of the university community manage and overcome mental health issues, fostering a supportive and healthy environment.

Additionally, SPs UNPAD has partnered with the Pusat Inovasi Psikologi, located on Jl. Ir. Hj Djuanda, to further enhance the mental health resources available. This collaboration allows for a broader range of psychological services and innovations, supporting the university’s mission to provide effective mental health care.

This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-being, which emphasizes the importance of mental health and well-being. By integrating mental health services into its sustainability framework, SPs UNPAD demonstrates a commitment to addressing the holistic needs of its academic community and improving overall health outcomes.

The program also reflects SPs UNPAD’s adherence to the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings indicators related to mental health support and community engagement. Through these expanded services, the university underscores its dedication to fostering a well-rounded and supportive academic environment.
