[Gradschool Unpad ] The Quality Assurance Unit (SPM) of Universitas Padjadjaran is currently playing an active role in organizing the development of quality improvement programs within Unpad through a two-way communication approach and assistance to study situations at the faculty and study program levels.
“Currently we are heading towards Global Quality Management (GQM), where this concept is very much in line with Unpad’s vision of ‘Useful and Global’, so it is hoped that each study program can find the identity of the study program to bring out its respective advantages that can be recognized internationally. .” said Dr. Rd. Funny Mustikasari Elita, M.Sc. (Head of Quality Assurance Unit-Unpad)
Funny said that quality is something that must be continuously pursued through a learning process to achieve better change. In the implementation of QA and Q-Culture, it is necessary to have a long-term vision and its derivative visions down to the unit and individual levels, then it is developed into a roadmap that must be implemented and continuously reviewed.
The application of Total Quality Management (TQM) in Unpad can be carried out by involving all potential human resources starting from lecturers, students, staff and partners (domastendikmit), so that good education must be integrated and can have a positive impact on society, not only input and process. Shared leadership needs to be implemented to distribute participation from various levels and maximize team learning activities for the continuity of the process of achieving vision within an organization.
