The Master of Biotechnology Program will be taken for 2 years with a focus on the internal abilities of the students in determining problem solving and designing and doing biotechnology research according to existing interests and problems. Students will be provided in-depth knowledge of biotechnology principles, scientific methodologies for Comprehensively analyze biological systems and their applications depth in the fields of health, agro-biotechnology, industry and the environment.

The Master of Biotechnology Program offers four study paths related to specifications research interests: i) Health Biotechnology, ii) Agro-biotechnology, iii) Industrial Biotechnology, and iv) Environmental biotechnology. Study paths related to research topics are designed for specializes in certain areas of biotechnology.

Students must complete all courses in the selected interest. However, students can adjust their education by combining courses from other interests is adjusted with the study and the need for research topics. The course consists of theoretical knowledge and practical application of design theory research, bioinformatic and statistical analyzes of raw data and interpretation result.

The curriculum provides a cross-platform approach that enables students to acquire unique skills that appeal to a wide range of companies. Students will too trained in problem solving, project management and communication skills professional. In the final semester, students will make a final assignment in the form of project research on relevant topics at Unpad or in industry or at other universities/ research institutes anywhere in the world that are collaborative partners of the Master of Biotechnology Study Program Unpad.
