Bandung, Sekolah Pascasarjana (SPs) Universitas Padjadjaran has taken significant steps to promote sustainable practices by implementing a dedicated program to manage liquid waste from laboratory activities. This initiative, carried out in accordance with the Pedoman Berkelanjutan – Panduan Hijau Sekolah Pascasarjana: Langkah-langkah Menuju Kampus Berkelanjutan (Chapter 2), ensures that wastewater is treated properly to minimize environmental impact and maintain campus safety.
Beyond liquid waste management, SPs Unpad also handles hazardous waste (B3), such as used lamps and printer cartridges, in strict compliance with environmental regulations. These measures guarantee that all waste is managed responsibly, supporting circular economy principles and reducing ecological risks.
Through these initiatives, SPs Unpad reaffirms its commitment to SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and sustainability in academic operations while contributing to the global effort for sustainable resource management.
