Bandung – The Graduate School (SPs) of Universitas Padjadjaran has adopted water-efficient landscaping practices as part of its sustainability initiatives. The campus features plants such as orchids, Ficus elastica, cacti, and other drought-tolerant species, which require minimal watering while maintaining a healthy green environment.
In addition to reducing water consumption, SPs Unpad provides educational opportunities for the local community to learn sustainable water management and landscaping techniques. By integrating practical environmental education with efficient resource use, SPs fosters awareness of responsible water practices among students and the surrounding community.
These initiatives reflect SPs Unpad’s commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable campus management, directly supporting SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation by promoting efficient water use, reducing waste, and encouraging water-conscious behavior.
