Bandung – The Graduate School (SPs) of Universitas Padjadjaran has implemented an innovative water reuse initiative to promote sustainable campus practices. Portable washbasins have been installed near building entrances, capturing water used for ablution (wudhu) and redirecting it to irrigate plants in the SPs garden.
This initiative ensures that water is used efficiently and sustainably, reducing waste while supporting greenery on campus. By reusing water in practical ways, SPs Unpad demonstrates its commitment to responsible water management and environmental stewardship.
The program is part of SPs Unpad’s broader efforts to implement sustainable practices across campus facilities, aligning with SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, which emphasizes the efficient use, management, and protection of water resources for communities and ecosystems.
