Graduate School, Unpad, Allocated Grants for Cross-Border Research on IoT-Based Emission Monitoring to Advance Sustainable Development Goals

The Graduate School, Universitas Padjadjaran, allocated a grant of Rp85 million to support the research “Integrating IoT-Based Emission Monitoring and Predictive Analytics for Sustainable Heritage Site Management in Bandung, Indonesia, and Johor, Malaysia.” This investment affirms SPS’s commitment to promoting the achievement of SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). Through this research, SPS seeks to strengthen the role of education and gender equality, improve environmental quality in heritage areas, and provide transparent and accountable site governance. Furthermore, the cross-border collaboration between Indonesia and Malaysia is a concrete manifestation of the global partnership for sustainable development goals. With this funding support, SPS affirms its position as a multidisciplinary research center that produces innovative solutions to local and global challenges.
