Graduate School, Unpad, collaborating with national and international institutions, have successfully held International Joint Symposium with title “Quality Tourism in Geopark”. This event contribute to the development of Geopark Kebumen through the implementation of sustainability principles, as well as promoting environmental conservation, communities’ education, and capacity building. In addition, several programs were also held for local communities to promote the Geopark Kebumen as an international destination and part of global network of UNESCO. The involvement of Graduate School, Unpad, in this joint conference is also part of SDG movement, specifically to achieve SDG 1 to eradicate the number of poverty in Kebumen, SDG 4 for promoting research related with Geopark Kebumen, SDG 8 to develop the economy of Kebumen through tourism sector, and SDG 15 for environmental conservation.
