Unpad Graduate School Introduces “Seminar on Environment-Oriented Systems and Information Engineering” to Strengthen Sustainable Solutions

The Graduate School, Universitas Padjadjaran, has launched a course titled “Seminar on Environment-Oriented Systems and Information Engineering” as part of the Master of Environmental Science program. This course provides a platform for students to present, discuss, and evaluate innovative ideas on the application of system engineering and information technology to address pressing environmental challenges. By combining theoretical insights with practical case studies, the course equips students with the analytical and problem-solving skills needed to design solutions for complex sustainability issues.
The course directly contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education through advanced learning opportunities, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure by fostering technology-driven solutions, and SDG 13: Climate Action by promoting environmentally oriented approaches to system and information design. With this initiative, Universitas Padjadjaran reaffirms its commitment to producing graduates capable of driving innovation and contributing to sustainable environmental management at both local and global levels.
