The Center for Environment and Sustainability Science (CESS), in collaboration with the Graduate School of Universitas Padjadjaran, The Greening of Industry Network (GIN), ITMoB, and the East Asia Joint Research Program (e-ASIA JRP), successfully held the 6th Conference on Sustainability Science (CSS) with the theme “Upstream to Downstream: Comprehensive Sustainability in Action.” The event brought together experts, academics, and practitioners to discuss solutions for pressing sustainability challenges.

Several focus to develop Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was discussed, for example the environmental conservation (SDG 15), clean water supply (SDG 6), climate mitigation (SDG 13), food and water security (SDG 2), sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11), health and wellbeing (SDG 3), as well as industry innovation (SDG 9). By addressing these fundamental issues, the conference emphasized the importance of science-based collaboration in creating sustainable pathways for communities and ecosystems worldwide.
