To support environmental conservation efforts and reduce the use of single-use plastics, the Graduate School, Unpad, has officially launched the Bring a Tumbler Movement on campus. This movement refers to the university policy concerning the Use of Tumblers as a form of commitment to reduce plastic waste.
Through this comprehensive efforts, all academics, including students, lecturers, and educational staff, are encouraged to bring and use tumblers in their daily activities on campus. This policy is also supported by various facilities, such as the provision of drinking water dispensers at several strategic locations on the Graduate School campus.
The Bring a Tumbler Movement is part of the Unpad Graduate School’s long-term commitment to support the sustainable campus program (green campus). By bringing our own tumblers, we are not only reduce plastic waste but also contribute to a more environmentally friendly lifestyle. The aim of this program is that all parties will play an active and consistent role in implementing this habit, both on campus and in our daily lives.
Let’s make Unpad’s Graduate School campus free of plastic waste, starting with one small step: Bringing a tumbler every day.
