The Graduate School, Universitas Padjadjaran, has provided a course of academic writing within several of the master programs. The course equips students with essential skills in literature search strategies, academic writing style, proper citation, systematic literature review, and research ethics.
By blending the use of modern reference management tools with structured assignments—such as critical appraisals, proposal composition, and presentations—students are empowered to produce and communicate high-quality scholarly work relying on both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
This course significantly contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. Through fostering advanced academic and ethical writing competencies, it advances SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting inclusive and high-standard learning opportunities for graduate students. Additionally, by equipping future researchers to generate well-founded scientific outputs, the program supports SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure and SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, reinforcing the role of ethical and credible research in building sustainable innovation and trustworthy knowledge systems.
