Unpad Graduate School Expands Scholarship and Support Services for Low-Income Students, Advancing SDG 1

The Graduate School of Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) is strengthening its commitment to educational equity by providing a wide range of scholarship and support programs for students from low-income families.
These initiatives include scholarships, free meals, and legal services, designed to reduce both financial and non-academic barriers. By addressing students’ essential needs, the Graduate School ensures they can concentrate on their studies and complete their higher education successfully.
This effort is in line with the Graduate School’s sustainability guidelines (Chapter 1: Assistance for Students from Low-Income Families), which emphasize inclusive access to education and student well-being.
The initiative directly supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 1: No Poverty, by alleviating socio-economic challenges, promoting equal opportunities, and empowering students to break the cycle of poverty through education.
