Since 2022, the Graduate School of Universitas Padjadjaran (SPs Unpad) has reaffirmed its commitment to reducing barriers to higher education through its scholarship program. To date, 13 students have benefited from financial assistance, enabling them to continue and complete their studies despite economic challenges.
The scholarships are awarded not only based on academic merit but also by considering students’ socio-economic conditions, ensuring that those from disadvantaged families have equal opportunities to pursue higher education. This inclusive approach reflects the diversity of study programs and backgrounds, demonstrating SPs Unpad’s dedication to social equity and empowerment.
By easing the financial burden of education, this initiative directly supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 1: No Poverty, helping to break the cycle of poverty through access to knowledge, skills, and opportunities for a brighter future.
