In alignment with its commitment to fostering a healthy and supportive academic environment, Sekolah Pascasarjana Universitas Padjadjaran (SPs UNPAD) has launched a series of initiatives focused on enhancing the health and well-being of its academic community. Guided by Chapter 1: Health and Well-being of the Academic Community in the Sustainability Guidelines, SPs UNPAD is dedicated to improving access to vital information on fitness, heart health, and dental care.
The university’s new initiative includes the establishment of the Pusat Studi dan Informasi Kesehatan (PUSDI Wellness), a dedicated center on campus offering a wealth of resources and educational activities. This center is designed to empower students, faculty, and staff with the knowledge and tools necessary to maintain and improve their physical health.
This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-being, which aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. By providing comprehensive health resources and educational opportunities, SPs UNPAD supports the holistic development of its community members, contributing to their overall quality of life and academic success.
Additionally, the program resonates with the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings indicators related to enhancing well-being and health within educational institutions. The focus on preventive care and health education underscores SPs UNPAD’s commitment to creating a nurturing and health-conscious campus environment.
