In alignment with its commitment to sustainability and academic excellence, the Graduate School of Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) has implemented a mental health consultation service as part of its holistic approach to the well-being of its academic community. As outlined in Chapter 1 of the Sustainability Guidelines under “Health and Well-being,” the school provides psychological support services for both students and staff, with a particular focus on the needs of women. These services are designed to help individuals cope with stress, anxiety, and other mental health challenges they may encounter during their academic journey.
This initiative not only reflects the institution’s dedication to fostering a supportive academic environment but also aligns with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, emphasizing the importance of mental health in achieving overall well-being. By offering access to professional mental health resources, SPs UNPAD ensures that its community members have the tools they need to maintain a healthy balance between their academic responsibilities and personal mental wellness.
Furthermore, this focus on mental health ties into the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, as it supports the integration of health and well-being in the academic environment, enhancing the overall quality of life on campus.
