SPs UNPAD Implements 10 Water-Saving Actions to Boost Efficiency

Sekolah Pascasarjana (SPs) Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) is proud to announce the launch of a comprehensive water-saving initiative designed to enhance water efficiency across our campus. As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we have outlined 10 key actions in our Sustainability Guidelines aimed at reducing water consumption and promoting responsible usage.

Key Actions in Our Water-Saving Initiative:

Automatic Sensor Faucets: We are installing faucets equipped with sensors to ensure that water is used only when necessary, reducing wastage and improving overall efficiency.

Awareness Stickers: To encourage mindful water use, we are placing warning stickers on taps as a reminder to turn them off when not in use.

Comprehensive Strategy: The 10 actions outlined in our guidelines address various aspects of water use across campus, collectively aiming to achieve significant reductions in water consumption.

These measures are aligned with SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, which focuses on ensuring the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation. By implementing these water-saving practices, SPs UNPAD is taking concrete steps towards more efficient water use and supporting the global effort to manage water resources sustainably.

We are excited to see the positive impact of these actions on our campus and remain dedicated to advancing our sustainability goals.
