Sekolah Pascasarjana (SPs) Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) is taking a significant step forward in its commitment to energy sustainability with the implementation of a comprehensive energy tracking system. As part of our ongoing efforts to optimize energy use across our campus, we are now required to systematically record the total energy consumption as outlined in our Sustainability Guidelines.
Key Aspects of Our Energy Tracking Initiative:
Comprehensive Energy Tracking: We are documenting total energy consumption to effectively measure and manage energy use across all campus operations. This data is crucial for monitoring trends and making evidence-based decisions to enhance energy efficiency.
Centralized Data Management: Currently, energy consumption data is managed at the university level, allowing us to consolidate information and analyze patterns across the entire institution. This centralized approach supports better strategic planning and resource allocation.
Informed Decision-Making: By leveraging this data, we can make informed decisions to reduce energy consumption and improve our overall sustainability performance.
These efforts are aligned with SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, which focuses on ensuring access to reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all. The meticulous tracking and management of energy consumption are integral to achieving this goal by promoting energy efficiency and sustainable practices within our campus.
