SPs UNPAD Launches Comprehensive Energy Efficiency Plan

At Sekolah Pascasarjana (SPs) Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD), we are proud to announce the launch of a new energy efficiency plan designed to significantly reduce overall energy consumption across our campus. This initiative aligns with our ongoing commitment to sustainability and underscores our dedication to advancing energy conservation efforts.

Our comprehensive energy efficiency plan includes the following key components:

LED Lighting Replacement: We are replacing traditional lighting fixtures with energy-efficient LED lights throughout the campus. This transition will not only cut down on energy use but also improve the quality of lighting in our facilities.
Reduction in Air Conditioning Use: By optimizing our air conditioning systems and exploring alternative cooling solutions, we aim to minimize unnecessary energy consumption and enhance our campus’s overall energy performance.
Enhanced Energy Management: Our plan includes a thorough overhaul of energy management practices to ensure that all energy use is closely monitored and efficiently managed.
These measures are part of SPs UNPAD’s broader strategy to promote sustainable energy practices and align with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Specifically, our energy efficiency initiatives support SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, which emphasizes the need for increased energy efficiency and access to sustainable energy sources.

Furthermore, our commitment to sustainability is reinforced through collaboration with our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partners, who are instrumental in developing and maintaining the infrastructure that supports these energy-saving strategies.

By integrating these practices, SPs UNPAD aims to set a benchmark for energy efficiency in academic institutions and contribute to a more sustainable future. We invite you to learn more about our efforts and stay updated on our progress by visiting our dedicated sustainability resources here.

Together, let’s make a positive impact and work towards a greener, more energy-efficient campus.
