Graduate School UNPAD Implements Paving Block Parking Area to Support Sustainable Water Resource Management

In its ongoing efforts to manage water resources sustainably, the Graduate School of Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) has developed a parking area using permeable paving blocks. This facility is designed to reduce surface water runoff, allowing rainwater to naturally seep into the ground, thereby contributing to more effective water management.

The use of paving blocks aligns with UNPAD’s campus sustainability guidelines, promoting environmentally friendly infrastructure. By enhancing water absorption and minimizing runoff, this initiative helps to prevent flooding and maintain the natural hydrological cycle on campus.

This project highlights SPs UNPAD’s commitment to integrating sustainable practices into campus operations, reinforcing its role as a leader in environmental conservation and responsible resource management.
