Graduate School UNPAD Collaborates with Bandung City Government to Support Sustainable Urban Development

The Graduate School of Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD), through its Sustainable Tourism Master’s Program, has established a significant collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism of Bandung City. This partnership is focused on addressing urban planning and development challenges in alignment with SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.
A key outcome of this collaboration is the formalization of a Cooperation Agreement for Expert Services in the Masterplan Development of Gedebage, a rapidly growing area in Bandung. This agreement underscores the program’s commitment to fostering sustainable urban growth, ensuring that development efforts in Gedebage are environmentally sound, socially inclusive, and economically viable.
Through this partnership, the Sustainable Tourism Master’s Program at Graduate School UNPAD plays a crucial role in promoting sustainable urban development, highlighting the university’s dedication to making a positive impact on the city’s future.
