In 2023, Graduate School UNPAD has made significant strides in fostering research collaborations with various industrial and commercial sectors, solidifying its commitment to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These partnerships, formalized through Cooperation Agreements (Perjanjian Kerja Sama or PKS), have enabled the institution to drive innovation, enhance educational initiatives, and contribute to sustainable environmental planning.
One of the key collaborations this year includes a partnership with Yayasan Satriabudi Dharma Setia, aimed at accelerating technological advancements and genomic health knowledge in Indonesia. This agreement underscores the school’s dedication to addressing critical health challenges through cutting-edge research and innovation.
Additionally, Graduate School UNPAD, through the Center for Environment and Sustainability Science (CESS), has entered into a strategic collaboration with PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional. This partnership focuses on the development of Best Management Practices (BMP) for environmental sustainability, further emphasizing the school’s role in promoting responsible industrial practices.
In the realm of education, Graduate School UNPAD has worked closely with BAPPENAS to provide specialized training programs at the master’s level. This collaboration is designed to equip future leaders with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate complex environmental and development challenges.
Moreover, a partnership with PT Pelabuhan Indonesia has been established to support corporate social and environmental responsibility programs. This initiative not only strengthens the school’s impact on sustainable development but also demonstrates its commitment to fostering community engagement and environmental stewardship.
Through these collaborations, Graduate School UNPAD has not only generated significant research revenue but has also amplified its impact on the development of technology, education, and sustainable environmental planning. These efforts align with the institution’s vision of contributing meaningfully to Indonesia’s progress toward achieving the SDGs.
