Graduate School UNPAD is committed to advancing Sustainable Development Goal 16 (SDG 16), which promotes peace, justice, and strong institutions, by actively engaging in policy research and fostering collaborations with government agencies. As part of this effort, the School has established partnerships that focus on critical policy issues affecting various sectors.
A significant example of this commitment is the collaboration with BAPPENAS, Indonesia’s Ministry of National Development Planning. Through this partnership, Graduate School UNPAD conducts specialized classes addressing specific policy areas, providing students and researchers with in-depth insights into the complexities of policy-making processes.
In addition to its collaboration with BAPPENAS, Graduate School UNPAD, in partnership with the Center for Environment and Sustainability Science (CESS), offers the Diklat Greeneconomy program. This training program is designed to enhance understanding and implementation of sustainable policies, particularly in the context of green economy initiatives. The program equips participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop and apply sustainable policies that align with national and global environmental goals.
These initiatives demonstrate Graduate School UNPAD’s dedication to supporting SDG 16 by contributing to the development of effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions.
