Graduate School UNPAD is committed to supporting Sustainable Development Goal 13 (SDG 13) by actively promoting climate action and preparedness for emergencies. In alignment with this commitment, the School has implemented a robust safety program for the year 2023.
As part of its efforts to enhance emergency preparedness and ensure the safety of its community, Graduate School UNPAD conducted a fire drill simulation in 2023. This drill, which is held at least once a year, is a critical component of the School’s safety protocols, designed to prepare staff and security personnel for potential emergency situations.
The simulation involved comprehensive training and practice for handling fire emergencies, with participation from both security staff and office attendants (OB). The drill aimed to improve response times, ensure effective communication, and reinforce the importance of safety procedures among all participants.
The annual safety drill is a testament to Graduate School UNPAD’s dedication to creating a secure environment and fostering a culture of preparedness. By incorporating these drills into its routine, the School not only adheres to safety regulations but also contributes to broader climate action goals outlined in SDG 13.
Through these initiatives, Graduate School UNPAD demonstrates its proactive approach to emergency management and its commitment to safeguarding the well-being of its community while supporting global sustainability efforts.
