Graduate School UNPAD Boosts Sustainable Community Enterprises through INSUAH Program

Buruan SAE, an integrated urban farming initiative launched by the Bandung Food and Agriculture Agency (DISPANGTAN), is tackling food insecurity in the city by encouraging residents to utilize available spaces for gardening. By growing their own food, participants reduce reliance on external sources and enhance their food security, addressing one of Bandung’s critical challenges.

In support of this initiative, Graduate School UNPAD is actively empowering the Buruan SAE group through its INSUAH program. The program provides vital financial assistance, marketing support, and financial management training to help the group commercialize their processed agricultural products. This comprehensive support ensures that the Buruan SAE group’s ventures are not only financially viable but also contribute to sustainable community development.

Through the INSUAH program, Graduate School UNPAD aims to foster startups that are both financially and socially sustainable, enhancing the overall impact of the Buruan SAE initiative. By combining efforts, they are driving sustainable economic growth and improving the livelihoods of local communities through innovative, community-based agricultural practices.
