The challenges facing urban agriculture amidst commercial pressures, food security threats, and household nutritional needs are profound. Through research and activities at our Living Lab, we strive to uncover these complexities. A recent publication involving @buah.thelivinglab in data analysis aims to reveal a nuanced perspective of urban agriculture in the Greater Bandung area. This research focuses on preserving and expanding existing ecosystems and their biodiversity, encompassing both plant and animal life, particularly threatened ecosystems.
The activities at Living Lab are aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 15 (Life on Land), which emphasizes the conservation and sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems. By studying and enhancing urban agriculture practices, we contribute to SDG targets aimed at ensuring biodiversity conservation and sustainable land management.
Through ongoing research and community engagement, Sekolah Pasca Sarjana remains committed to addressing these critical issues, ensuring sustainable urban development and food security for all. (SNM)
