Organic fertilizers can be sourced from various local resources. We are fortunate to be connected with a Dairy Processing Plant that will be draining its Wastewater Treatment Plant, and we are utilizing its waste through the principle of fermentation aided by Eco Enzyme.
In support of sustainable agricultural practices, BUAH The Living Lab and Sekolah Pasca Sarjana provides access to university facilities—such as laboratories, technology, plant stocks, seeds, fertilizers, plant vitamins, and more—to local farmers and food producers. This initiative aims to enhance the sustainability of agricultural practices and production.
By leveraging university resources, we contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action). This collaboration ensures that local farmers have the tools and knowledge necessary to implement eco-friendly and sustainable agricultural practices.
Moreover, Sekolah Pasca Sarjana hosts educational programs, including executive education courses, seminars, and workshops open to the public. These initiatives foster community engagement and knowledge exchange, supporting SDG 4 (Quality Education) by providing accessible learning opportunities for all, including non-academic participants.
Through collaborative partnerships and shared resources, we continue to advance sustainable development goals in agriculture, ensuring resilience and prosperity for both communities and ecosystems. (SNM)
