The Center for Environment and Sustainability Science (CESS) at Universitas Padjadjaran, in collaboration with the Graduate School Universitas Padjadjaran, proudly presents the “2nd International Colloquium on Youth, Environment, and Sustainability” (ICYES).

Theme: “The Future of Bioproduction System in a Globalized World”

In an era of rapid globalization, the younger generation plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of bioproduction systems worldwide. Addressing critical challenges such as climate change, global food security, and sustainable resource management requires innovative solutions and cross-border collaboration. The ICYES 2023 aims to empower youth to lead in developing sustainable practices that optimize resource utilization and mitigate environmental impacts.

Call for Abstracts: Contributing to SDG 4 – Quality Education Outreach Activities Abstract submissions are invited across various sub-themes related to bioproduction systems. Participants will engage in hybrid discussions, combining physical presence at the Graduate School Universitas Padjadjaran in Bandung and virtual participation via Zoom. This format ensures global accessibility and inclusivity.

The ICYES 2023 aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 on Quality Education by promoting educational outreach beyond campus boundaries. Through lectures and tailored demonstrations, the colloquium aims to inspire and educate participants on sustainable bioproduction practices. This initiative empowers youth to become catalysts for change in their communities and beyond.
